H07Z-U is a cable model that follows the European Harmonised standard, with specifications defined in standards such as HD 21 or IEC 60227. Its full name is 450/750V halogen-free single core solid conductor cable. It is mainly used for fixed installation.
    Analysis of Letter Meanings:
H: Indicating that the cable complies with coordinated European standards.
07: The rated voltage level of the cable is 450/750 V. This is a common level for fixed wiring cables.
Z: This letter has slightly different meanings in different standards, but in this context, it usually refers to halogen free or thin solid conductors. Combined with its common applications, it focuses more on referring to structures with single core and solid conductors.
-U: This suffix is crucial as it clearly indicates that the cable is a single core structure.
Execution standard: HD 21.13 S1 or IEC 60227 series standards.
    Rated voltage: 450/750 V.
    Conductor:
    Material: Usually copper.
Structure: Solid circular conductor (Class 1 conductor). This is the core difference between it and multi stranded flexible wires (such as H05V-K).
Insulation material: usually halogen-free polyolefin or low smoke halogen-free material (LSZH/LSOH). This means that it emits very low smoke during combustion and does not produce toxic or corrosive halogen acid gases.
    Working Temperature:
    Long term allowable working temperature: ≤ 70 ° C
Maximum temperature during short circuit (maximum duration of 5 seconds): ≤ 160 ° C
    Main Features:
    Advantage:
Environmental safety: Halogen free and low smoke characteristics make it suitable for densely populated areas, making it easy to evacuate and rescue in case of fire.
Structural stability: Solid conductors are not easily loose, making them easy to insert into terminal blocks, especially suitable for installation on rail type terminal blocks.
Good fixed installation performance: Due to its rigidity, it can maintain its shape when laid in cable trays and pipelines, making it easy to install.
    Disadvantages:
Not easy to bend: Solid conductors are very hard and not suitable for situations that require frequent movement or bending.
General heat resistance: The working temperature of 70 ° C is lower than that of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated cables.

    H07Z-U Cable Extrusion Line

The H07Z-U low-voltage cable extrusion production line is a complete set of equipment specifically designed for manufacturing insulated cores and protective sheaths of power cables rated at 0.6/1 kV and below. Its core process involves melting solid plastics (such as PVC or XLPE) through heating and pressurization, then continuously and uniformly coating conductors (copper/aluminum wires) or assembled cable cores. After cooling and solidification, a smooth, dense, and uniformly thick insulating layer or protective sheath is formed.

    Core Components

The H07Z-U cable extrusion production line is a highly coordinated automated system, primarily consisting of the following major components:
    Pay-off Unit:
Supports and releases the conductor or cable core, providing stable and controllable tension to prevent thinning or twisting of the conductor.
    Preheater:
Heats the conductor before it enters the die head to remove moisture, reduce internal stress, and improve adhesion between the plastic and the conductor.
    Extruder:
Screw: Conveys, compacts, melts, and homogenizes the plastic.
Barrel: Heats and cools the plastic.
Drive Motor: Provides power to the screw.
Die Head: Connects the extruder to the die.
Die (Tip and Die): Determines the thickness, concentricity, and shape of the extruded layer.
    Cooling Trough:
Rapidly cools and solidifies the high-temperature cable. Typically features segmented temperature control to ensure material stability and avoid internal stress.
    Haul-off Unit:
Provides the driving force for the production line. Its speed must be extremely stable, as it is critical for ensuring uniform extrusion thickness.
    Spark Tester:
An online quality inspection device that applies high voltage to the insulating layer to detect defects such as pinholes or impurities, triggering alarms and marking the locations.
    Take-up Unit:
Winds the finished cable neatly onto a reel, maintaining constant tension and synchronizing with the haul-off speed.
    Control System:
Uses a PLC / industrial computer to centrally control all parameters (temperature, speed, tension, etc.), ensuring stable and reproducible production.

    H07Z-U Cable Extrusion Line Application

Thanks to its halogen-free, low smoke, and safety features, H07Z-U is widely used in fixed wiring applications that require high safety standards:
Internal wiring of buildings, especially in high-rise buildings, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, hotels, airports, subway stations, and other public places with extremely high requirements for fire prevention and safety.
Internal connection of distribution panel/control cabinet: used for wiring inside distribution boxes and control cabinets, connecting circuit breakers, contactors, terminal blocks, etc., as their solid conductors are very suitable for rail terminals.
Cable tray and pipeline laying: fixedly installed in cable ladders, cable trays or conduits as power or lighting lines.
Emergency system: used for wiring emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and other safety circuits to ensure that the lines can be maintained for a period of time and reduce the production of toxic smoke in case of a fire.
