  • H07V-K Electronic Wire Extrusion Line

H07V-K is a PVC insulated flexible wire that complies with the European Harmonized Standard. It is a very universal and common wire model, which can be seen as an "enhanced version" of H05V-K, with the main difference being its higher rated voltage level (450/750V). It combines good flexibility, reliable electrical performance, and economy, and is widely used for fixed installation and internal wiring of equipment.

    Meaning Analysis

Its code meaning is similar to H05V-K, with the key difference being the voltage level:
H: Represents' coordinated standards'. Compliant with EU CENELEC standards, ensuring universality within the European Economic Area.
07: Represents the rated voltage level. 07 represents a voltage level of 450/750V. Among them:
450V refers to the rated voltage of the wire to ground.
750V refers to the rated voltage between wire conductors.
V: The representative insulation material is polyvinyl chloride.
K: The representative conductor type is fine stranded copper wire conductor, ensuring the flexibility of the wire.

    H07V-K Electronic Wire Extrusion Line

The H07V-K electronic wire extrusion production line is a complete set of automated equipment specifically used for manufacturing H07V-K type flexible wires. Its core process is "extrusion," where molten polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic is uniformly coated onto a continuously advancing copper conductor through an extruder to form an insulation layer. After undergoing cooling, detection, printing, and other processes, the wire is finally wound into reels that comply with standards. The core task of this production line is to efficiently and stably produce H07V-K electronic wires that meet the requirements of standards such as VDE, IEC, and GB/T, ensuring key indicators like conductor resistance, insulation thickness, outer diameter, and 450/750V withstand voltage performance meet qualifications.

    Core Components

A standard H07V-K extrusion production line mainly consists of the following equipment arranged in process order:
    Pay-off Device
Function: To carry and release the copper conductor (fine-stranded copper wires).
Type: High-speed production lines all use active pay-off equipped with tension control systems to ensure smooth pay-off and prevent conductor stretching or breaking.
    Preheater
    Function: To preheat the conductor.
Purpose: To remove moisture, reduce the temperature difference with molten PVC, enhance adhesion, and avoid subsequent shrinkage or bubbling of the insulation layer.
    Extruder
Function: To melt, plasticize, and continuously extrude PVC pellets.
    Key Components:
Screw/Barrel: A gradual-compression screw designed for the thermal characteristics of PVC, working with the heating and cooling system to achieve precise temperature control.
Die Head and Mold: Precision molds (tip and die) ensure molten PVC forms a ring, uniformly and densely coating the conductor with consistent insulation thickness.
    Cooling Trough
Function: To rapidly cool and set the high-temperature wire.
Characteristic: Uses segmented cooling (e.g., warm water section, cold water section) to achieve slow cooling, eliminating internal stress in the insulation layer and preventing brittleness or surface roughness.
    Spark Tester
Function: Online 100% quality inspection. The wire passes through a high-voltage electric field; if the insulation layer has defects like pinholes or thin spots, it will be instantly breached, triggering an alarm. This is key equipment for ensuring product insulation integrity.
    Diameter Monitoring and Control System
Function: Uses laser or ultrasound to monitor the wire's outer diameter in real-time.
Principle: Compares measured values with set values, automatically feedback-adjusting the haul-off speed or extrusion rate to control the outer diameter within strict tolerances, ensuring stable quality and saving material.
    Printing Device
Function: To continuously print permanent markings on the insulation surface. This is a mandatory standard requirement.
Type: Commonly uses hot embossing or inkjet printing.
    Haul-off Machine
Function: To provide stable pulling force, synchronously moving the entire line.
Type: Caterpillar haul-off machines are the mainstream choice, capable of steadily gripping the wire and providing damage-free traction.
    Take-up Device
Function: To wind the finished wire neatly and tightly onto a reel.
Type: Employs active take-up with PID tension control and an automatic traverser to adapt to high-speed production and ensure neat reeling.
    Control System
Function: The "brain" of the production line. Integrates PLC and touch screen to centrally control all parameters (temperature, speed, tension, etc.), enabling automated production, data recording, and fault diagnosis.
