It forms insulated wires with precise dimensions, smooth surfaces, and stable electrical properties by melting and uniformly coating PVC compounds on the surface of metal conductors such as copper wires. This production line is the most common and widely used extrusion equipment for producing general electronic wires, suitable for manufacturing wires of various standard specifications.
Main Components:
Pay-off SystemFunction: Unwinds copper conductors (solid or stranded) with tension control to prevent deformation.
Types: Passive pay-off (dependent on traction force) or active pay-off (independent tension control).
Preheating DeviceFunction: Preheats the conductor to enhance PVC adhesion and reduce residual stress.
ExtruderScrew: Designed for PVC characteristics (typically 20:1 L/D ratio, 2.5:1–3:1 compression ratio).
Barrel: Sectional heating with temperature control (150–200°C) to ensure uniform PVC melting.
