Tungsten Carbide Wire Drawing Die
Tungsten carbide wire drawing die is a hard alloy mold made by powder metallurgy process using metal binders such as tungsten carbide (WC) and cobalt (Co). It has high hardness, good wear resistance and impact resistance, and is one of the most commonly used types of molds in metal wire drawing processing.
Core Features
High hardness (HRA 88~93, second only to diamond);
Good wear resistance (long lifespan, suitable for mass production);
Strong impact resistance (more resistant to cracking than diamond molds);
High cost-effectiveness (lower cost than PCD and natural diamond molds);
Widely applicable (can process coarse, medium, and fine wire diameters).
