Wire Drawing Die
Wire drawing dies are key tools in metal wire processing, used to pull metal billets (such as steel, copper, aluminum, etc.) from larger diameters into smaller diameter wires through stretching processes. The core principle is to apply pressure to the metal through the holes inside the mold, causing it to undergo plastic deformation while maintaining surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
Basic Structure
Entrance area: Guide metal wires into the mold to reduce frictional resistance.
Compression zone (working zone): A conical area where metal undergoes plastic deformation and the diameter decreases.
Calibration zone: Ensure that the wire reaches the precise final size and surface finish.
Export area: Protect the wire from scratches when exiting.

Wire Drawing Die Application
Wire drawing dies are key tools in metal wire processing, used to pull metal billets (such as steel, copper, aluminum, etc.) from larger diameters into smaller diameter wires through stretching processes. It is mainly used in the following situations:
Wire and CableThe drawing of copper and aluminum conductors.
