Spring Steel Stranding Bow
Spring Steel Stranding Bow is a core component of a twisting machine made of high elastic spring steel (such as 60Si2MnA, 65Mn, etc.), designed specifically for twisting processes with high strength and high fatigue life requirements. It effectively absorbs vibrations and maintains stable tension control during the twisting process through the elastic deformation ability of the material, making it particularly suitable for large-sized metal wires and high-speed working conditions.
Core Features
High elastic modulus (≥ 200 GPa): Not easily deformed under repeated bending loads.
Excellent fatigue resistance: Can withstand>10 cycles of stress (3-5 times longer than ordinary carbon steel).
Fast dynamic response: When twisted at high speeds (>1000 RPM), it can quickly counteract wire shaking.
Wear resistant surface: Optional hard chrome plating or nitriding treatment (surface hardness HRC ≥ 55).

Spring Steel Stranding Bow Application
Spring Steel Stranding Bow is a core component of stranding machines manufactured from high-elasticity spring steel (e.g., 60Si2MnA, 65Mn), specifically designed for stranding processes requiring high strength and fatigue resistance. Its primary applications include:
High-Voltage CablesApplication: Stranding of aluminum conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR) cables and aluminum-clad steel wires;
Advantage: Withstands differential tension between aluminum wires and steel core.
Marine Engineering CablesApplication: Ship mooring cables and deep-sea umbilical cables;
Special Requirement: Salt spray corrosion resistance (requires zinc-nickel alloy coating).
Special Steel Wire RopesApplication: Elevator cables and mining hoist ropes;
Typical Operating Condition: Instantaneous impact load ≥5 times static tension.
Automotive Wire HarnessesApplication: Stranding of high-flexibility shielded wires;
Precision Requirement: Pitch tolerance ±0.1mm.
