Cable braiding machine is an industrial device specifically designed to braid protective or shielding layers onto the surfaces of cables, wires, or hoses. Its core functions include:
Electromagnetic Shielding: Utilizes metal wires (e.g., copper wires, tinned copper wires) to create a braided layer that blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring stable signal transmission.
Mechanical Protection: Enhances the cable's tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and pressure tolerance through braided layers of fibers (e.g., aramid fibers, glass fibers) or metal wires.
Grounding and Conductivity: Provides a grounding channel via the metal braided layer to prevent static charge accumulation.

Working Principle

The cable braiding machine uses spindles to carry yarns or metal wires, which rotate in opposite directions along a circular track to form an interwoven structure that covers the cable surface. The process involves three key stages:
Unwinding: The spindles release wires (metal/fiber) uniformly through tension control devices.
Braiding Formation: Groups of spindles rotate alternately in forward and reverse directions along the track, interlacing the wires around the cable surface.
Take-up: The braided cable is evenly pulled out by a take-up mechanism to maintain consistent braiding density.
